:rage: Ye know those days when good things happen, ye're happy and nothing's the matter and then suddenly it just goes downhill? I've had one of those days.

This evening was my orchestra's joint concert with the Lancashire County Band, who are WAY better than us. I do my solos (and I quote) "brilliantly" and my mum was pleased with me. Everything was happy happy until we got home. Mum went upstairs and looked at my floor and said, "You need to clean this!" Don't ye HATE it when parents start touching things in yer room that you don't want touching and/or moving? That got me a little bit tetchy, so I picked up my stuff from the floor and then went to make myself a cup of tea. I pull out a teacup, but somehow catch another one and sort of drag that one out, making it fall out and catching (and subsequently) breaking a glass containing weird looking glasses that we haven't actually USED yet, and my mum snapped at me, saying I need to be more careful. At least the actual GLASSES weren't broken. I'd only smashed the container and the glasses look perfectly normal upside-down in a little pyramid formation. But noooo... "You need to be more careful", "Thank you very bloody much" and all that.

So, just in case my mum reads this... even though it's SLIGHTLY annoying when ye "nag" me to tidy my room and have a go at me fer little accidents, I am REALLY sorry and I REALLY don't mean it. I don't want to end the evening on a horrible tone. :petting:

P.S. I'm probably gonna submit another journal to avoid this one being seen! :XD: Can't be too careful...

Beckett: Perhaps I'd dislike you, even if I didn't dislike you at all. That's how much I dislike you.

Mercer: I'd dislike you even if that made sense.

At least you weren't playing with with the Lancashire Youth Symphony Orchestra, we're playing at Birmingham Symphony Hall in 2/3 weeks...

Sometimes things are just going great and then BANG. Yesterday I was to buy a new guitar (well, for my birthday, so, for my parents to buy it). We saw a shop, tiny one, didn't have anything wanted. Then, we went to see the other tons of stores (we went to Lisbon specially because they have tons of them). All closed or closing when we got there, it was Saturday afternoon. :XD: So good...

ARRRGH. That happens to me ALL the time! You get home from the best day out ever and your mom's like "Go mow the lawn now. You've had your fun for the day."

I swear, "You've had your fun for the day" is a direct quote.
