Some New Year's resolutions I've just made up:

1) Lose weight: I've probably gained weight equal to the continent of Australia over the Christmas holidays. *is fat and morbidly obese*
2) Try to conquer my shyness: I've decided (along with many others, including parents and teachers) that I'm too quiet and I'm sort of a social recluse around new people. Must be more confident!
3) STRIVE with all my MIGHT to get a boyfriend: Why? BECAUSE.
4) Improve my artwork: just so I can say, "Look! I'm better!"
5) Start writing my story on Cedric: I've got this CRAZY idea fer a story and this CRAZY notion that it could take off as a children's novel. It could happen!
6) Finish my Mad Hatter costume before March: otherwise "we'll all be late fer TEEEEEEA!"
7) Study hard fer exams: 'cause I'm a neeeeeeeeeeeerd.
8) Get a job: I NEED EXPERIENCE AND MOOLAH.
9) Stop being such a procrastinator: I'll start that... eventually.
10) Draw better people: I can draw animals quite well, but my humans always turn out poopy.

I have returned from Rome! I had a FANTASTIC time and got some AMAZING pictures, including some snapshots of Pope Benedict XVI!

I'm off to Rome fer the weekend with my prayer group fer a *ahem* "mini-pilgrimage" (personally, I think it's just so we can go "exotic Christmas shopping" ) That means that I won't be back until Monday afternoon-ish. I'll take lots of photos, including snapshots of my two new Rome mascots aptly named Romulus and Remus. See if ye can guess what kind of animal they are...
